a facet of a vanished reality...

(photos : Kit Brown, 2013)

Hostile delirium of blurred thoughts… foolish superimpositions of frozen fantasies… diverse representations coagulating in a brutal clutter… ethereal illusions lost in the past’s ocean… buried fears like forgotten desires…
The body has to break the representation freezing it… movement has to fill the gap between what has been photographed and what happened… the body has to incarnate the consuming instant…

Beyond questioning ourselves about the delicate relationship we have with the organism and its potential representations, we try to explore the possible extension of repetition through mutating installation… repetition of words and ideas, of images floating around like mantras…

The sudden apparition of a reality to come fades away in the fog of a reality experimented before… words; images… interpreting traces from a untied knot… scientific vocabulary / Gilles Deleuze… becoming Borges… maybe… in dreams!

Each installation of A kaleidoscope of nothingness… is to be considered as a facet of a vanished reality… An expandable and multidisciplinary process where collaborations with other artists bring a contrast or an extension to our approach…

Traces of dreams like traces of ashes indicate what went through, what happened… hazy forms of inexpressible feelings…

What happens in the air between the photography of a body and the fluidizing it aspires to?

Photography is an eternity of maybe…
